Code of Conduct Policy

As a respected member, partner, or risk expert of the Charter Partners community insurance program, I understand the importance of adhering to the Code of Conduct Policy and agree to uphold equal standards across the captive for all current and future members and partners.

Captive Code of Conduct

Members and partners of the Charter Partners community will:

  1. Adhere to the Trust Towel rules by respecting fellow community members’ time, opinions, and equal standing within the captive.

  2. Act with integrity and community standards of trust when engaging in knowledge sharing or receiving sensitive/personal information.

  3. Not engage in harassment or discrimination against another person within the captive.

  4. Engage with respect and fairness when met with opposing or difficult discourse.

  5. Act with integrity and lawfulness in regard to the business or organization considered within the captive.

  6. Respect the financial and intellectual property of Charter Partners and the captive as a whole.

Code of Conduct Policy

Should a member, partner, or person of the Charter Partners community engage in any behavior or act that violates the Code of Conduct, they may be subject to committee review to determine if 1) a violation has occurred 2) an acceptable standard for resolution, and 3) an appropriate result should the issue not be resolved.

Process

1. For a potential violation to be and/or brought to a committee, a Conduct Violation Form must be completed and submitted to a Charter Partners representative and the appropriate Ambassador.

2. The Ambassador will initially assume responsibility for resolving the issue and in addition:

  • a. Determining the appropriate level of involvement or awareness from board representatives and/or additional community members

  • b. Submitting documentation of resolution attempts and results to CP

3. Should the violation not be addressed by the Ambassador and/or the community member continues to violate the Code of Conduct, a committee will be arranged by a CP Representative that consists of:

  • The broker/ambassador

  • Both board representatives of the member’s pod

  • A CP representative

4. Should the committee determine that a violation has occurred and that a resolution is not achievable, the committee will determine which action is appropriate:

5. Continued membership within the captive with the stipulation that any further violations will warrant removal from the captive without committee review.

6. Removal from the captive.
